The solo exhibition, "Scotland's Chequered Throne," at Agitate Gallery has been a remarkable success, drawing numerous visitors intrigued by Scotland's history and captivating fine art photography. Organized by Shambellie House as part of their Festival of Photography, "Celebrating Women in Photography" is a captivating touring exhibition that highlights the exceptional talent and diverse perspectives of 52 female photographers.
This inspiring collection showcases a wide range of photographic styles and subjects, each piece telling a unique story through the lens of its creator. Among the featured works is my own photograph, "Lost in the Shadows," a poignant portrait that delves into the profound story of depression. This piece aims to spark conversation and evoke deep emotional responses from viewers.
The exhibition not only celebrates the artistic achievements of women in photography but also aims to inspire and empower future generations of female photographers. Each photograph on display is a testament to the creativity, resilience, and vision of women who have made significant contributions to the field.
